After a ten-year career in public relations working primarily for clients in the travel industry (hotels, tour operators, industry associations and more), Dana transitioned to freelance work.
She currently writes newsletters for real estate agents in Manhattan, promoting new real estate projects, industry trends and topics of interest (renovations, board packages, etc.). She also frequently ghostwrites real estate articles on behalf of brokers appearing monthly on US News & World Report‘s website.
For Brandfire, a New York-based creative and marketing agency, Dana has worked on several stand-alone writing projects, including content for websites and award submissions. Clients have included Scale Bank, North Memorial Health, Roadway Moving, and others.
For two and half years, Dana wrote a bi-monthly newsletter on behalf of Loop TV, one of the largest digital out-of-home content providers. The newsletter featured the latest news for participating Loop venue partners. In addition, she provided content and editing support for other Loop marketing projects.
Dana wrote content for Ortho Connecticut’s website, including descriptions of various medical procedures, physician biographies, blog posts, patient success stories and press releases. She also wrote SEO-focused content for physician websites for PatientPop.
For several years Dana wrote newsletters and annual reports for Big Brother Big Sisters of New York City. On behalf of the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, Dana co-wrote a 10-year annual report covering success stories in every aspect of the organization (including hospitals, treatment centers, palliative care centers, long-term care centers, visiting nurse programs and more).
