Writing

After a ten-year career in public relations—working primarily with clients in the travel industry, including hotels, tour operators, and industry associations—Dana transitioned to freelance writing.

She currently writes newsletters for Manhattan real estate agents, highlighting new projects, industry trends, and topics of interest such as renovations and co-op board packages. She also frequently ghostwrites real estate articles for brokers that appear monthly on U.S. News & World Report’s website.

For Brandfire, a New York-based creative and marketing agency, Dana completed a variety of writing projects, including website content and award submissions. Her work for Brandfire has supported clients such as Scale Bank, North Memorial Health, and Roadway Moving.

For two and a half years, Dana wrote a bi-monthly newsletter for Loop TV, one of the largest digital out-of-home content providers. The newsletter featured updates and news for participating Loop venue partners. In addition, she contributed content and editing support for other Loop marketing initiatives.

Dana has also written website content for OrthoConnecticut, including procedure descriptions, physician bios, blog posts, patient success stories, and press releases. She developed SEO-focused content for physician websites for PatientPop as well.

Earlier in her career, Dana wrote newsletters and annual reports for Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City. On behalf of NYC Health + Hospitals, she co-authored a ten-year annual report highlighting success stories across the system—including hospitals, treatment centers, palliative care facilities, long-term care centers, and visiting nurse programs.
